Week 11 Fantasy Perks

Last week as a rough one for us Bills fans. A true rollercoaster of emotions. But it's time for us to put that game behind us, and look ahead to this bye week. We get to take a week off of Bills football and watch some stress free football. We get to focus solely on our fantasy guys, and that's a relaxing feeling. There are some favorable matchups this upcoming week, and I'm here to help you take advantage of them!

Teams on Bye: Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers

Quarterback: Jameis WInston (0.6% Rostered)

With the terrible news of the injury to Drew Brees, Jameis Winston got the call to replace him on Sunday. He didn't fare too well, but the Saints have a favorable matchup against the Falcons this week. Atlanta has the 31st rank passing offense, and Jameis is just a season removed from 5,000 yards passing. He has the arm talent to make a difference, and he has the talent around him to show that he still has that talent.

Running Back: Salvon Ahmed (7% Rostered)

The undrafted rookie back for the Dolphins had himself a great debut this past Sunday with 85 rushing yards and a touchdown. This Miami backfield has been a true committee this season, and Ahmed will have another opportunity this week against Denver. Matt Breida is still out with a hamstring injury, and Jordan Howard being inactive opened the door for Ahmed, and I think he takes advantage of this opportunity again this week.

Wide Receiver: Zach Pascal (2% Rostered)

Zach Pascal has been a solid receiving option for Philip Rivers and the Colts offense. Pascal has at least 2 catches in every game this season, and I see this trend continuing this week against the Packers. With the Packers looking to focus on TY Hilton and the surging Pittman, Pascal will be going up against the 3rd best DB on the Packers, and that is a matchup that he can exploit.

Tight End: Taysom Hill (5% Rostered)

I know what you're thinking. Taysom Hill is a QB, isn't he? Yes, but he is also listed as a Tight End for fantasy purposes. So, with Drew Brees out, why not double dip in the New Orleans QB room for this Sunday's game against Atlanta? Not only can Hill run the ball, he is a known pass catcher as well, and he will throw the ball as well. In PPR leagues, Hill is going to be a solid option because of his versatility.

Defense/Special Team: Los Angeles Chargers (28.1% Rostered)

The Chargers are coming off of a disappointing loss to the Dolphins, and are playing the Jets this week. LA will be looking for a bounceback game, and what better opponent to play than the 0-9 Jets? There are still question marks about who will be starting at QB for the Jets, and the Chargers pass rush will cause problems to whomever is back there.

Kicker: Chris Boswell (48.5% Rostered)

The Steelers have a favorable matchup this week against a Jacksonville team that just seem to be space fillers right now. The Jaguars did give the Packers a run this past week, but I don't foresee that happening to Pittsburgh this week. Boswell went 3 for 3 on FG attempts this past week, and nailed all of his PATs. Boswell also has the leg to hit from deep, and he has yet to miss a FG this year. He would be a strong option not just for this week, but to finish out the season.
