Week 4 Fantasy Perks

There were some hits and some misses in Week 3, and I fell victim to my own advice. Alas, we are onto a new week. Fresh possibilities await!

Quarterback: Jacoby Brissett (Miami Dolphins) vs Indianapolis (1.6% Rostered)

With Tua on the IR for the next two week, Jacoby Brissett will take over the reigns of the Miami offense. He looked okay against Las Vegas, but came up big when the game was on the line. He made big throws, and ran in for a touchdown on 4th and Goal. Going up against a struggling Indianapolis defense may give Brissett a confidence boost. Don't we all love revenge games?

Running Back: Chuba Hubbard (Carolina Panthers) vs Dallas (11.3% Rostered)

Injuries are showing up again this week, this time getting Christian McCaffrey with a hamstring injury. There is still no official word if he will be on the IR, but Hubbard is next man up in the Carolina Running Back room. He filled in well with 52 rushing yards and 27 yards on 3 catches. With a big game against Dallas, Carolina will need to use all of their weapons to win this game, and Hubbard will have to be a big part of this game plan.

Wide Receiver: Kalif Raymond (Detroit Lions) vs Chicago (0.5% Rostered)

Detroit is one of those teams this season where everybody over looks them, but they are scrappy. New head coach and Jared Goff at QB doesn't seem like an ideal situation. If there is one fantasy positive, it is Kalif Raymond. His workload went from 4 and 2 targets to 10 targets this past Sunday. Depending on the health of Tyrell Williams (Concussion) Raymond will be the top receiver for Detroit going into their division game against Chicago.

Tight End: Pat Freiermuth (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs Green Bay (4.5% Rostered)

Pittsburgh has been known to use their Tight Ends, and their usage of Freiermuth this season has been strange. They like to run a little shovel pass to him and let his size and athleticism take over. His targets have increased each week, and this Sunday against Green Bay will be no different. I see this game as a shoot out, and Pittsburgh will utilize Freiermuth in the Red Zone.

Defense: Cincinnati Bengals vs Jacksonville (5% Rostered)

Cincy has a good week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, only allowing 10 points and picking the ball off twice. This week, going up against a rookie QB on a short week, the Bengals will come out guns blazing. I just think they will dismantle the Jacksonville offense and confuse Trevor Lawrence.

Kicker: Greg Joseph (Minnesota) vs Cleveland (2.9% Rostered)

The Vikings kicker has been good so far this year, only missing one FG attempt. He is playing at home this week, which means the weather will not be a factor. Any time a kicker is in a dome, it is a good chance they won't miss. But never say never. I see this game shockingly become a shootout. Minnesota is surprising me this year, and this matchup against Cleveland will be a good litmus test for this Vikings team.

Homer Pick of the Week: Zack Moss vs Houston (57.1% Rostered)

This may seem like a low hanging fruit kind of pick, but at this point, all Bills skill players are putting up good fantasy numbers. So far this year, it looks like Buffalo will be running the hot hand, and Zack Moss has been on fire the past two weeks. Two rushing touchdowns in Week 2 and a receiving touchdown in week 3 will lead to bigger things for Moss going into this matchup against Houston. Perhaps his first career 100 yard game?
